Why We Fundraise

Currently, we are part of the Infant/Pre-School Scholarship in which we donate annually to provide care for one child. Throughout the course of the year, OneSky sends our organization two updates and pictures of that child over the course of the year.

OneSky Foundation
Originally named Half the Sky Foundation, OneSky was founded by Jenny Bowen in 1998. Originally, it was dedicated to providing care for orphans in China by training caregivers , supplying resources, and other miscellaneous services.
Eventually, the organization was renamed to OneSky in order to broaden its scope and mission to encompass all children around the world.

OneSky aims to unlock the vast potential hidden in our world’s most vulnerable young children. We create and implement simple, replicable early learning programs that provide nurturing responsive care, transforming the lives of thousands of at-risk children every day, and ensuring that those most in need have a second chance at childhood. - OneSky.org
